After we finished having dinner. I and Henry took the staircase, each of us heading for our rooms.

“Have a good night's sleep,” he said to me and started walking towards his room.

I started thinking of ways to get into his room with him. I wasn’t going to let go of the chance to have him remember who I am.

“Wait, please do not let me sleep alone in that huge room,” I immediately said to him with pouty eyes.

“Why do you say so?” He asked me, taking steps further to where I was standing.

“The room is so huge, I can’t stay in there alone,” I said while looking at his face. I noticed that my excuse wasn’t good enough to get him to accept my request, so I quickly came up with another lie.

“The truth is that I am scared of being alone and I am also very much afraid of the dark,” I lied with a straight face, to give him more conviction.
