Chapter 117. Shocked

We arrived at Mr Stone's mansion by 7 PM and the welcome party we received took us by surprise, I didn't expect everyone to be this happy. It was as if something big had happened and I couldn't help but smile at the scene.

"Where have you been Henry?" My mother asked

Henry felt dumb at that moment, he didn't even say a word but kept staring at her

"Let's forget about that for now, he is here and we should be thankful for that," I replied.

My daughter slowly walked outside and I quickly whispered to Henry

"Here comes your beautiful daughter."

He turned in her direction at once and rushed after her. He gave her a warm hug and I watched the both of them exchange some heartwarming emotions. Tears flowed out of my husband's eyes, I nearly cried too but I held myself from doing such.

"Don’t leave me again, Daddy," the young lad said

"Never again will I abandon you and your mother, I'm so sorry if I hurt your feelings, I won't leave you again
