Chapter 138. “I’m pregnant.”
The next day, right in front of him, sat Kathleen and her father and Henry could do nothing but glare at the both of them as they went about chattering between each other like he wasn’t in the room.
Kathleen's loud giggles infuriated him, even the way she had suddenly changed her sitting position into some sort of lazy style while she rubbed continuously on her flattened stomach.
On a normal day, he would’ve sent her out of the house but her father was here, and he wanted to hear them out first.
“What the fuck are you both doing here?” He snarled at her father, who seemed too enthralled with talking to Kathleen that nothing else mattered.
To his utmost surprise, both Kathleen and her father ignored him like he hadn’t even spoken.
They ignored him like his words held no weight and that action even enraged him a lot more than he already was but he didn’t give up.
