Nicole and Lily ran over to her.

"Emelda!!! Are you hurt?" Nicole enveloped her in a hug, as she sobbed.

"Grandma, I'm fine. I'm not hurt." Although Emelda was weak, she smiled.

"Thank God... thank God..." Nicole continued sobbing.

Lily scooped her in her arms and led her back to where the others were.

"Grandpa, great grandpa.." Emelda smiled at them.

Raphael was too furious to even manage a smile for his great-granddaughter.
