Chapter 78. Starved

Henry crept into Quinn's room once he was sure everyone had gone to bed.

He opened the door slowly and made his way towards her bed. He stumbled over something and fell.

The noise startled Quinn, and she woke up with a start,

"Who's that?" Her voice was drowsy.

"Hush... You don't want your parents to come here, do you?" Henry whispered.

Hearing his voice, she relaxed.

"What are you doing here? Let me guess, you can't sleep?" Quinn chuckled.

"Yes... I can't sleep. I tried doing so, but..." He trailed off.

"But what?" Quinn asked inquisitively.

"But I can't stop thinking about you." He said. He hadn't gotten up from his position on the ground where he had tripped.

Quinn sighed, as her hand fumbled for the switch to the bedside lamp. She found it and turned it on.
