Chapter 61

Emma

I quickly arrive at the lounge with the guys right behind me to find Savannah standing by the doorway trying to talk Emily into calming down but it doesn’t seem to be going well. I hear a low growl just before Theo brushes past me and gently pulls Savannah back by her arm.

“Come outside please, baby. You’re still supposed to be taking it easy. Where are the babies?”

“My mom and Josh have taken them to the kitchen.” I turn my attention away from them and put it on Emily but I don’t miss Savannah leaving and heading for the kitchen while Theo looks completely relieved. I look at Emily and zone in on her face and she looks mad, mad and sad and I think she’s just at a complete and utter loss.

“Emily.” Levi gently calls out to her but she either can’t hear him or she’s choosing to ignore him.
