Chapter 66

We work our way through the tunnel and it feels like it goes on for miles. My knees suddenly feel wet and I look down to find that the floor of the tunnel is now wet and there is water slowly running towards us, there’s not a lot of it there so hopefully we are nearing the end.

“I can see some light ahead, Alpha,” Lewis whispers and I’m relieved to know that we are getting to the end. We work our way around a bend in the tunnel and we all cover our eyes as bright light blares in and hurts our eyes and now I understand why there’s water running inside, there’s no door at this end of the tunnel.

As we near the end I make Lewis and Kyle stop so that I can get upfront. We don’t know what we will find once we get out and as Alpha, I want to be in front of my men. They try to protest but I use my Alpha tone so that they have to do as I say. I know their job is to protect me but I respect all of my warriors and both Lewis and Kyle are also very good friends of
