“He’s your what?” Sophia stutters out from across the room grabbing everyone’s attention.

“If I’m right, Theo is my brother, mom, my baby brother from before I came to live here.”

“I don’t understand,” Jake says as he and Sophia walk towards us and fuck am I glad that I’m not the only one confused here.

“Wait, when you came here you told us about your family. I remember you said that you had a twin sister Ella and a little brother…” Sophia seems shocked as she relives the past.

“Theodore!” Jake shouts seeming to finish Sophia’s sentence for her but also in a state of shock.

“Theodore?” I look to Emma the name coming from my lips as a question.

“Theodore was my brother’s name but I always called him Theo Bear and he always called me Bunny because I loved rabbits and he always called Ella.”

“Ella terror,” Theo says before she finishes her sentence.

“Because she was a terror to the both of us!” They both speak the words
