It’s been 2 weeks since Noah’s death and things are still raw but I know from personal experience that this isn’t something that’s going to just go away, you never get over losing the people that you love but you just learn to live with it somehow. Some days are harder than others but day by day slowly things are starting to get back into a routine.

The day after the battle we managed to get final numbers on deaths and it turns out that we lost four more wolves than we first thought. 11 of our pack members were lost that day and the effects are still being felt just as strong.

They were someone’s son or daughter and someone’s sister or brother. Some of them were mates and parents and they will always be honored at this pack. Two days after the battle we held a funeral for Noah, Tim, Zac, Cory and Jenny and a memorial for Lewis, Kyle, Hailey, Paddy, Elsa and Scott and we’ve also got a bench with their names on it in Emma’s sunflower garden.
