Unexpected Happiness

Shourya’s PoV

Diya’s support made me confident. She asked me to stay with my parents. I thought to refuse, but her words stopped me.

“Shourya, you are here today just because of your parents. Don’t forget that. It’s your parents who supported you in becoming an IPS. Why do you think they are an obstacle to your duty?”

“Diya, I don’t think they are an obstacle to my duty. I don’t want anything to happen to them because of me. I can’t take it if my enemies target them.”

“You are wrong, Shourya. By staying away from them, you can’t save them from your enemies. Living away can’t end the relationship between you and your parents. Even now, they have a threat to their life.

Keep your fears aside and realize the fact that you left your responsibility towards them. They need your love a
