Chapter 72
I’ve been running like crazy at work all morning, so I feel I have more than enough reason to take a little break in the early afternoon. I want to take my camera down to the graphic design department so I can plug in the memory card and print a poster-size copy of my photo of the pier.
Not that Ansel Adams—or even Wyatt Royce—would believe me, but I’m proud of it, and I think Marcus will like it, too. Maybe it’s silly, but I want to surprise him with a gift. Something unique. Something of mine.
Which explains why I’m about to use company resources for my own benefit.
Thank God, no one in the graphics department is having any trouble. In fact, the manager, Joan, thinks it’s such a good idea that she offers to help me make sure the printer is set up correctly.
