My heart raced against my ribcage as I saw Natalia’s father walking in front of us, facing Alexander who was furious.

“Jaiden” he said coldly. Natalia and I frowned at the name; however, neither one of us commented as we listened to what was going on.

“That is a name that I chose to give up a long time ago. Now, I am here to take my daughter and son-in-law back to their pack, and I give you my word that if you try to stop me, I will be sure to kill you” he said, glaring at Alexander who laughed. My eyes widened in surprise at the sight of the black tail of a small creature on his shoulder, and nudging Natalia, her own eyes widened when she caught sight of it.
