After my mother's revelations, Ryan and I had a conversation and concluded that the only people who could help us better understand that story were Patrick's daughters.
As much as I disliked Rachel, I wanted even more distance from Sarah, as the disappointment I felt toward her was deep. Discovering that she had knowledge of something so terrible about her mother and never shared it with anyone, pretending to be a good and lovable person when, in fact, she was as malicious as her sister, was a hard blow.
Ryan seemed to think the same way I did, as we never considered reaching out to Sarah.
"I believe that if Rachel told Mary about this lead that helped her find Maira, she must know much more," Ryan suggested.
"Besides the fact that she's easily 'buyable,'" I agreed with his line of thought. "With the right amount, we can have all the information at our disposal. No unpleasant surprises."
