Night fell, bringing darkness with it. I was lost in my thoughts. Memories of different moments in my life continued to haunt me. I couldn't rest after the long flight from Monaco to Seattle. The journey was still affecting how I felt.

I wasn't hungry and didn't want to eat that night. I decided to be alone, facing bad feelings. I felt sad for ignoring the people around me in the past few weeks, especially when they tried to warn me about my sister's difficult situation.

But something surprising happened and changed things. My phone rang, breaking the silence of the night. It was Orion Demetriou, a wealthy and influential man I had met in Monaco. He was interested in me as a potential partner, someone he could marry for mutual benefit. I felt uncomfortable around Orion because he was conceited and arrogant. However, due to my tight financial situation, I decided to set aside those things and focus on his wealth.
