Chapter 112. I Will Never Forgive Her
Madeline’s POV
“Why? What happened?” Victor asked and immediately dismounted.
I was panicking while seeing the blood trickling down from the knuckles of Freya. Before I could even tend it, Victor went beside me and held her hand, examining it.
“Are you okay? Does it hurt?” Victor asked and even blew it.
“Oh, no, I am really sorry!” I exclaimed.
“No, it is fine, Madeline. It was an accident,” Freya assured me, but I felt really bad.
“No, you are not fine,” Victor firmly said. “Why did you not just dodge it? You are a fast fighter! You could have easily dodged it!”
Freya only rolled her eyes and withdrew her hand. “If you would just reprimand me, I will leave and tend it myself,” she said and walked away.
“That woman! She does not listen!” Victor was frustrated. He turned to me and Uriel who was caressing my shoulder. “You should wait here. I’ll come back. I have to tend her cut.”
