Chapter 64. I Did Not Lose You

Uriel’s POV

I was about to call her because I was delighted that she was fine. But before I could even take a step so I could embrace her, I coughed blood. I tried to stand, but I only fell and no words were coming out of my mouth. 

My face was on the ground. When I slowly lifted my head to look at her, she was landing on the ground. Her expressionless face turned to me, and the fire engulfing her body turned from red to blue. And again, I was amazed.

Her powers. They are beginning to show. She is truly the chosen one for the magic crystal.

The countess turned her body to me. The ominous silence was back and only her steps were the ones that were making sounds in the village. All the wizards and witches were dead who were trying to kill us.

“Stop there, you bitch!” 

Countess Marissa halted and someone dragged me from behind. I screamed in excruciating pain when a hand put pressure on the sharp wood and intubated my heart
