Bella

I found myself engulfed in an overwhelming sense of boredom—there was no better word to describe it.

Feeling utterly bored, I detested this state of mind. Normally, whenever boredom struck, I would indulge in painting, but being away from my art supplies in LA left me with limited options. As a result, I was left tossing and turning on my bed on a Saturday morning, desperately seeking some form of entertainment.

Fortunately, I will be departing from New York and returning home tomorrow. Until then, however, I had no other choice but to pass the time by idly scrolling through my phone.

The idea of visiting my parents briefly crossed my mind, but I realized it wouldn't alleviate my boredom; in fact, it might only sour my mood. Wanting to protect my state of mind, I decided to remain at the hotel and find alternative means to clear my head.
