"Cheers!" Nelly, Nina, and I exclaimed as our glasses clinked together.
We downed our shots in one swift motion, with Nina struggling to swallow hers, which caused Nelly and me to burst into laughter at her amusing expression.
"I've said it before, Nina shouldn't drink with us. She can't keep up. Now, we'll be responsible for carrying her when she can no longer walk on her own," Nelly remarked, wearing a displeased look, and Nina shot her a glare.
"Just because I'm not an alcoholic like you two doesn't mean I can't join you for a drink, especially on a day as important as today," she retorted, and both Nelly and I stared at her in confusion.
