But it's while sitting on the floor, contemplating what good enough excuse I'll come up with for Taeshin and everyone else when they arrive, that time passes by.

It's almost ten at night when I finally decide to lift my body from the floor, turn off the TV, and make my way back to my room.

I consider lying down and pretending I'm asleep, but it's the loud sound of knocking on my door that makes me sigh once again that night, when I hadn't even managed to get to my bed properly. I pivot on my heels, heading back to the living room, walking up to the door to open it and come face to face with Taeshin.

"I hate you..." I say when I open the door and see him smiling.

"Hate me not." he clicks his tongue and enters.

I watch him walk over to my couch and there, he opens the bag he brought with him.

"Here, put these on." he raises the clothes towards me.
