It didn't take long for us to arrive at the funeral home, where the chapel for my grandma's wake was also located.
Hyun-Suk was the first to get out of the car, reaching for my hand to help me out as well. I saw my friends' car park right behind us. Rini got out along with Minah and Taeshin, and in the car behind, Jackson and Mark got out with Sunhee.
They approached, as did Hajun and JiHo, who came over as soon as they parked their car next to ours and hugged me comfortingly without saying a word, leaving me somewhat relieved.
"Shall we go inside?" Hyun-Suk called out.
I nodded, walking with him and the others into the chapel. I was never religious, but my grandma had a strong attachment to Catholicism. My parents had the ceremony like the one she would have, so I believed it was the right thing to do, because she always said that even in death, nothing was the end. Maybe now they were together. I wanted to believe that.
