Chapter 57. Mother-Son Feud

“Stop it, Mother!” Liam roars, stopping his mother. “I have answered your questions. If you still have more, ask me. I will answer them and clear up all the doubts that that woman has put in you. But not Lynn. She is out of bounds.” Liam says.

“Why? Because she is pregnant? She is just carrying this thing in her belly. She is not sick.

“That tiny thing is what will this entire family..."

“Enough!” I howled, pressing Liam’s hand more tightly to summon his senses back. If he slips anything out, only the devil knows what will happen. And I know that he can lose it all because of me. He can lose all his cool and do or say something he will regret later, all because of me. He takes a deep breath to stabilize his cool and calm his demons. “It’s alright, Liam. Let your mother ask me anything she wants.” I say, soothing his arm.

“Are you having an affair with my son? Are you sleeping with my son in his matrimonial home?” His mother asks, as if she were itching to ge
