Chapter 378
One of the Heavenly Enforcers shifted, his gaze sweeping dangerously close to where they stood. Before he could move, Nemyra seized Ron by his wrist and yanked him into the shadow of a towering stone pillar. Her body pressed close, her breath hushed against his ear.
“I know a secret entrace,” she whispered. “We can use that to get inside, but we have to be very, very quiet. Not a single word. Do you understand?”
Ron swallowed hard and nodded quickly. He would of course not make any noise. Who in their right mind wanted to be roasted alive by heavenly lightning? Certainly not him.
The Enforcer’s gaze swept past the pillar and moved on.
Taking the opportunity, Nemyra tugged Ron along. They moved like shadows, using the stone pillars to hide from view, circling the vast tower until they reached its far side where the guards were fewer.
