Chapter 386

The second Thalindra mentioned Eron's name, Vathar's head whipped towards Ron so fast one would think his neck was going to crack and behind Ron, he saw Eron, sleeping peacefully on an Enforcer's back. He gasped in shock and his crimson eyes went wet with tears. 

All the memories they had made together — every moment, every shared breath — came rushing back all at once. It felt as though he had sealed them behind a locked door, chained and buried deep, only for the sight of Eron to shatter it wide open, releasing them in a crashing flood.

He pushed himself off Alaric, and pressed a trembling hand against the bleeding wound in his stomach as he staggered toward the love of his life, tears streaming freely down his face. Alaric tried to help him so he wouldn't fall. After all, the wound on his stomach was no simple one but he refused help. No matter the pain, he just wanted to reach Eron. 

Prince Ron knew this and motioned for Alaric to stop. It was better
