George's POV 

I never wanted anyone to even suspect that Mary wasn't my real mate but no matter how we saw this as a secret, we would be suspected one day. 

Alex just went to the Alpha king and reported that he was with my mate, Lucy at the party, Christian told me. While he called, I was spending time with my new mate, Mary. My phone being under No Disturb meant no one could call me. 

He must have tried to reach out to Christian who was my closest assistant. It occurred it was at the exact time I was going to my office here in the estate that he called. 

Things were running through my head so fast, I needed to sit and think about this so well. The royal family were so strict with their rules, whoever I was wouldn't stop me from getting punished if I erred. I'd begun to love Mary so much, so it was my duty to protect her. 

"I'll call you back!"

"No, no sir!" Christian panicked. "What should I tell your dad when he calls again?"
