George's POV 

My hand nudged on her head. "Don't worry! Don't worry!" I kept telling her.

"How could you tell me not to be worried?" She yelled at me, I shifted in shock, narrowing my eyes. My lips hung loose, I was about to say something but I couldn't say a word. I was asking her not to worry not because I didn't care but more, out of confusion. 

"How did she--"

"She was shot dead while returning home the day she came to your estate from behind by some assassins who have been uncovered to be sent by the Alpha king. Her body was thrown into the river and it was left undisclosed, not until this morning."

"Oh God!" Mary grunted. Slowly the phone slipped through my fingers, falling on the floor as my hands began to shake. 

"I'm still coming to your estate to discuss more plans with you." He said finally, I couldn't say a word, I was still trying to recover from the shock of Leilani's death. It seemed like a dream to me that she was no more,
