Chapter 59. Becca's Regrets

It was when she was doing the headcount of all prominent family members and witches that Becca discovered that Lykie was still missing. 

When Becca felt the seal enveloping the area, Lykie was the first person she tried to call but the girl didn't pick up, so Becca sent her a message. 

Considering that she was the first person Becca ordered to go into the secret place, she was shocked that Lykie wasn't there yet. Without Lykie, Becca couldn't seal the place off, so she told everyone the witches with her to stay put and dashed out to go get Lykie while calling Lykie's phone. 

Just as she was stepping out, she felt the wind go still. An ominous feeling engulfed her as she looked towards the sky. 

Right in front of her, the stars disappeared and the moon seemed to be moving at a fast pace. Becca's eyes grew wide in shock. She had never witnessed such a thing before.
