Chapter 40. Shadow
"Sandra, can you bring me a towel? Romeo's heat is out of control!" Jovial panicked, especially since he had checked Romeo's temperature, almost 113 Fahrenheit. The thermometer had fallen to the floor.
He immediately carried Romeo into the bathroom and laid the big body in the bathtub, letting Romeo struggle with the cold. Romeo's skin turned red from the fever that hit his body and the hot water that enveloped him.
Romeo babbled incoherently. This is not just an ordinary fever, maybe because his son has lost something valuable in life, making Romeo's subconscious even more disturbed.
"Is he going to be all right?" Sandra squeezed her hand. She gave a thick towel to her husband.
Jovial was silent. And count every second that passes. Second by second, until a few minutes later, he finally immediately carried Romeo out of the bath.
