“Yes.” I responded, stepping on the accelerator, my eyes fixed on the road.
Louise had never said a word since I started the ritual of dropping off relief items for my father, so I had subconsciously concluded that she either had no idea about it, or did not mind.
But I did not care anyway. Louise, Dean, Norio, they were all distractions. I was at last close to freedom and that was all that mattered.
I had started Dean on his journey to hell, and would break free of Louise's control in no time.
