Chapter 124. A Strange Man
But one of them did, and he turned his gun toward me. Half of them followed suit and I raised my hands in surrender.
I doubted they could do much harm to me here in my aunt’s house. But then, if they could get past all her guards, I guess it was unwise to underestimate them.
Who the fuck were these people? They were all identical in their tall, burly sizes. And their masks were shaped like a dog's head.
As I walked out of my hiding spot, my eyes did a quick scan of their guns and noted these were not ordinary thugs.
That was when I smelled him, and my whole body came alive. Almost like I had been just a corpse since we separated over twenty four hours ago.
He walked in then with a large cigar burning off his lips. He had on an intimidating black jacket, and his eyes were cold.
He seemed to sense my presence before his eyes saw
