Chapter 160. A Bad Day
This was one more stranger's garage/basement I had walked into the last few days.
Standing spread legged with both hands leaning on the closed umbrella between my legs like a cane, I stared at Conor-Uncle.
He stared back at me, his eyes darting between my brothers flanking me, Axel smoking with cool eyes, Sean stiff as a statue.
“I asked for a private conversation.”
“And I asked my guards to remain outside. These are my brothers.”
“Are you fucking their wives too?” He grinned with bloodshot eyes.
I stared Axel down till he was breathing evenly again, and the madness died in his eyes. He was the explosive one here. The one I had to handle with care.
My head swiveled back to the old man. “Good to see you are getting over your grief. I have something for you,” I said, and Sean pressed his car's remote control,
