Chapter 293. A Final Arrest
I couldn’t wait to see her eyes light up when I went down on one knee.
Would she shriek like she did when I got her the car? Or would she be stunned like when she first saw Morvian?
“Yes sir.” Chris responded.
I nodded and got into the back seat. “Let’s head home first,” I said to the chauffeur in front.
I needed to get my bike, and tell Morvian that I was about to ask for his sister’s hand in marriage.
At home, I found him walking in the garden with the housekeeper, my jaw tightened, and my throat burned with emotion.
I have never seen him walk around like this. He was always sitting or sleeping, too exhausted to have a normal life.
Now he was going to live, he was going to grow up to be strong and healthy.
