Chapter 5. An Accident

“Dean?” I placed my phone against my ear and pushed my seat back.

“I have a surprise for you...” He sang the words like a children's rhyme, and I could not resist laughing.

Dean was so sweet, I knew he would be my biggest weakness when my plans went live.

“Tell me.” I was smiling from ear to ear as I picked up my bags and walked out of my office.

“That’s not how surprises work, pretty lady,” he said, making me blush. "Are you free tonight?"

“Sure, leaving the office now,” I responded, waving at Emma as I walked past her desk. She smiled at me and nodded.

"Good. I'll pick you up at 8?"

“Perfect. What should I wear?”

“Nothing,” he said. I gasped for air, giggling, “But something slutty works too.”

“Dean!”

“Yes, sexy.” He responded, and I shook my head, laughing as the elevator doors closed.

“See you soon,” I said.

He blew a kiss and hung up. I sighed, closed my eyes and leaned my back against a wall in the elevator as it shot down.

Every day since the past one last month, I have been grateful I did not freak out that night and change my mind.

Dean was actually the best of both brothers. Responsible, yet fun. And good lord, was he a gentleman.

The elevator chimed, and I walked out into the garage, trying not to even think of Colt. I had not seen him since that day, but he was always with me. He was in my head.

Dean arrived ten minutes early and waited for me in his Corvette.

“A woman who is punctual? I am a lucky man.” He kissed my hand and opened the passenger door as my aunt watched us from the balcony.

“How can you steal the moon’s spotlight, Mrs Auclair?” he shouted up at her and blew a kiss.

My aunt’s laugh rang into the night, smooth as a carol, while we drove off. I glanced at Dean and turned my head to the window to hide my smile.

“You can say it.”

“What?” I was resisting laughter now.

“Your aunt is tempted to be the bride now.”

“Aren’t you a vulgar man, Mr Fletcher?” I said, turning to him. And he laughed in his rich baritone.

The house we stopped at looked quiet on the outside, but inside, it was a full-blown club.

“Congratulations.” A confetti popped in our faces, startling a scream out of me as the guests cheered.

Dean pulled me in and kissed me soundly. When he pulled back, he was smiling, “I thought we deserved a small party before the engagement party this weekend?”

“Yes.” I smiled at him.

He led me down the aisle our guests had made to the center of the stage to dance.

“I’ll make you moan tonight,” he whispered in my ear as he rocked my body on the dance floor.

I turned to him in surprise. He nodded, smiling excitedly. “That is the surprise.”

I had no idea what toys or quick fixes he found, but his excitement was infectious. I smiled at him, happy for the first time in a long time.

Until I saw Colt, he was staring at us, leaning against the banisters on the floor above, smoking, his gold rings twinkling in the near darkness.

His eyes were fixed on mine, his gaze intense as he created smoke rings in the air from his cigar puffs.

“Olivia.”

I jumped, turning to Dean, who had disengaged from me. I was terrified he had seen us, but his eyes looked distracted.

“I have an international call. It might take some time, but I will be back.”

Before I could utter a word of protest, he kissed me and was gone.

Bloody hell. This was the worst kind of place he could leave me exposed to his brother.

I glanced up, but Colt was gone. I sighed in relief till I saw him on the ground floor, walking up to me.

I turned, hurrying away, past two men sucking on a stripper's boobs, past the snooker table where two men kissed passionately.

There was no place to hide away from Colt.

I glanced back, and he was hot on my heels, smiling, enjoying my fear. I finally stopped before the beverage dispenser, and in a second, Colt was breathing in my ear.

“You should not marry Dean.”

“I don’t want to talk to you.” My voice came out trembling, and Colt laughed.

I grabbed one of the red cups and filled it with a cocktail from one of the many dispensers.

“You should…”

I drank the cool liquid in large gulps.

“…not drink that.” Colt finished weakly.

“You cannot control me. Stop trying.” I lashed out at him, my heart racing.

“Do you know what you just drank, Sonsy?”

My eyes widened, and Colt moved closer. “Yeah. I was stupid to not have recognized you sooner.” He drew closer. “The only woman who can get a reaction out of me.” His tongue flicked my ear.

I jumped back and slapped him. “The SICK DOUGH you mean?”

His eyes darkened. “I was a child.”

“Fuck you.” I spat and began to walk away. But he grabbed my arm and pulled me back.

“I will scratch your eyes out if you do not get your hand off me this minute.” I panted, worried at the sudden heat I was feeling.

“I cannot let you go anywhere in this state, Olivia.”

“What state? Who do you think you are? You are nothing to me.” I yelled in his face, struggling to get my arm out of his hand. But the man was strong, his grip like vice.

“Do you know what you just drank? Look around you.” He yelled back.

I blinked, turning around, and realized people were coupling more indiscriminately. I could not hear their moans over the loud music, but their lips were slack.

My eyes widened. What the hell was this place?

“This is a sex party,” Colt said, reading my thoughts. “And no one drank even half a cup from that dispenser.”

I turned to him in horror. What had I done?

I was already nymphomaniac as it was, with a fiancé who could not get it up. The look in Colt’s eyes showed he knew the predicament I was in.

All my classmates knew my condition, thanks to Samantha, who stole my diary and read it out to the class.

“This is all your fault,” I said, and began to beat Colt’s chest.

“Stop it. We have to leave here now. You’ll soon lose control.”

“I need Dean. Where is Dean?” I began to turn away, but immediately felt myself hurled off the floor.

Colt slung me over his shoulder and hurried out of the party.

I wanted to struggle, but I was having a fucking orgasm from my sequin dress brushing over my clit because of Colt’s jerky movement as he hurried away.

I was a mess by the time we arrived at the hotel. I could not breathe or see clearly. I wanted anything to fit in all my holes. Anything at all, as long as it was clean.

My body was a breathing lava, and Colt looked like he was in pain, watching me in torment. I did not want to fuck my brother-in-law. The thought was disgusting.

But he was my biggest crush, and I was a nymphomaniac who had just drunk a whole cup of whatever.

It was a lethal combination.

“Let’s try the shower. Come,” Colt said, lifting me off the floor and hurrying to the bathroom. It took every last thread of morality in me not to kiss him and hold him.

He would not resist. He wanted me badly.

He dropped me gently and turned on all the showers.

I tore my dress and underwear off as the shower hit me from all angles, desperate for the coolness that was spreading all over my body.

Colt hurriedly turned his back to me.

But the relief was temporary.

“Colt!” I cried out, sinking to the floor in defeat. “It’s not working.”
