Fred's POV

As expected, Becca was not discharged.

She was still having trouble curing herself from infections, she was still weak and having increasingly strong anxiety crises. By medical recommendation, we transferred her to my family's home, where she would have both the support of my grandfather "experienced medical clinician" and Pauline, my cousin Ethan's nurse and girlfriend, as well as someone with whom Becca already had a certain familiarity.

I don't need to say how much Becca's mother freaked out when she heard the news. We knew that sooner or later she would get into trouble and involve a lawyer throughout history.
