Chapter 107. Eve's Disappointment

Eve dressed up very neat and beautiful tonight, and she even deliberately brought the cake she made after dinner to the dining table. She waited for Allan to come home from work.

It's almost 10pm and Allan hasn't come home yet. Eve, who is tired of waiting, even falls asleep in front of her homemade cake, which is still with lit candles that are almost shrinking. Eve lit them repeatedly every time she heard the door open and had to switch them off when she realised it wasn't Allan.

Mr Sam was surprised when he went to get some water to drink to see Eve asleep at the dining table with a cake still burning.
