Chapter 108. The Misunderstanding That Tormented Allan
Mr Sam was so nervous he promised Eve not to say anything to Allan.
"Why are you silent, Sam?" Allan looked at Mr Sam suspiciously.
"Ah, it's...nothing...sir...you clean it up and put it in the back! There!" exclaimed Mr Sam.
"But Mr Sam, wasn't this made by Madam? It would be a shame to throw it away...wouldn't it?" exclaimed a waiter who didn't understand the code. And he was about to turn around when he heard Allan shouting.
"Wait a minute! You come here!" called Allan. And the confused waiter approached Allan.
"Yes, sir?" asked the old waiter.
"What did you say? Is it Madame's? Do you mean Eve?" Allan looked at her with one eye squinting.
"Y-yes, sir," the maid said, frightened.
While Sam who saw it could only stay silent.
"Put it on the dining table and open it!" exclaimed Allan, who was also tense.
"W-Well, sir!" The waiter went to the dining table and opened the cake box that had been almost five days old.
