Chapter 98. Tension at the Dinner Table

Eve walked slowly on Allan's arm to the dining table for breakfast, even Allan hugged her shoulder affectionately.

"What's wrong with you? Is there a problem? I've noticed that after hanging up on someone you seem to be in a bad mood?" Eve asked as she walked with Allan to the dining table.

Allan let out a long breath, "Nothing, just a small problem about work. But thank goodness we're back this morning so I can work from home for a bit. Maybe there will be Tom and Bert who will come to the house, it doesn't matter if I can't accompany you to rest in the room, right?" said Allan looking at Eve.

Eve shook her head and sighed, "No problem, do what you have to do. I just want to rest all day anyway."
