Adams was too pissed to talk to Mike, despite Mike's attempt to try and talk to him, he wouldn't listen, he wanted Bianca to get punished accordingly for what she did, but Mike wouldn't agree, so he angrily went back home and all of Mike's attempt to reason with him proved fruitless.

Right there at the station Mike dismissed the bodyguard, since all has been sorted out, he wouldn't need the man anymore, and he'll love to go back to how his life was, free and fun, with no one being around to guard him every single second.

The bodyguard was understanding and didn't mind at all, Mike also rewarded him greatly for his hard work, and they ended things on a really good note.
