Chapter 69

Ashton really wasn't expecting the visitor to be Adams.

"I asked a question. Why is he here?'' Adams asked, still looking at Ashton in anger.

"It doesn't concern you Adams, you came here to see Diane, so don't cross your limits by asking me silly questions, it's none of your business who comes to visit me." Alicia rudely reply, feeling annoyed by Adams questions.

Adams was about saying something when Diane spoke.

"I remember you, you're Mommy's friend." She said softly.

Ashton smiled, then he walked to her and crouched down to her level. "You've got a good memory Diane." He smiled. "How are you?" He asked, stroking her hair lovingly.

"I'm fine thank you." Diane replied politely.

Ashton nodded. "I've got something for you, since it's been a while I saw you, I couldn't come here empty handed." He fetched a tiny box from his pocket and opened it.

Diane's eyes widen in surprise and she gasps at the sight of the lovely necklace. "It's beautiful."
