Chapter 67. Relative Chess
Although I’m still skeptical about this choice, I follow Zeath anyway as he makes his way forward, stepping completely into the warehouse.
The door suddenly slide shut behind us and I shiver. Zeath felt that and softly presses my hand as an assurance.
“Keep going forward,” the voice says again when we stop. So, we obey. “Faster.”
We still keep moving. And I don’t know where the hell the person behind the voice wants us to go because what’s in front of us is a fucking wall.
On reaching the wall, however, it opens up and ushers us into another space.
This one is larger, and it’s not empty.
It has big moving light above, with ceiling made of intersected iron. There are a few boxes stacked here and there in the hall.
