Chapter 68. The Real or Fake Contract

After a while, when Zeath seems to have drove off, the voice comes again, “Open the box at your left, Mellow.”

I do as instructed to find an A4-sized paper inside the box, which contains a contract that signs the sum of 500 billion over to the name Zachili Lupin. It also says the cash had been turned into artworks, pointing out the address of the art store.

I certainly can’t tell if it’s fake or not. However, I find it strange that such amount of money is assigned to Zeath’s deceased brother of all people (and it happens to coincide with the time he tells me about the guy too).

Besides, according to the date here, the contract was signed less than a decade ago (at the time of Gratfiend’s death), so it doesn’t make sense that a boy who died years and years ago would be given such money.

Maybe the voice owner heard the name ‘Zachili’ from Zeath lips and formed this trash.

He’s playing a fucking game with us.
