Chapter 50. Lia
Lia reviewed several files that her lawyer, Dionisia, had asked her to read. It was about Kennedy Enterprises' operating detours. Dionisia began explaining to her everything she needed to know.
"A lot is going on in here!" Lia exclaimed, her mouth agape in disbelief.
"All of these are hard to understand even after reading them more than once. It's hard. I'd rather go back to theater acting instead of doing this." Lia slapped the papers on the desk and massaged her brow.
"Don't worry, you'll get used to it." Dionisia reclined in her swivel chair.
Lia sighed. "You know what? I'm curious about how you got these files. It is strictly confidential. Did my mother leave these to you?"
Dionisia grinned as she crossed her fingers on the desk. "Of course, where else could I get them?"
