I watched him as he built the tent. Was I asking too much from him…maybe he was already irritated with me but I couldn’t help it

Since I’ve known Victor I’ve never seen him genuinely happy, I thought since he had everything he ever needed he’d be happy unfortunately that wasn’t the case

He rarely smiled nor did anything which made him happy, I felt bad just seeing him like that. I wasn’t pitting him but I just wanted him to loosen up a bit. To smile and be carefree. He seemed like someone who had the world on his shoulders. Like every little burden was on him. He didn’t have to solve the world’s problems
