With Victor’s absence, Monica made sure no one dared to enter the mansion, especially any of Vivienne’s friends. It was enough that Skylar wasn’t her niece. She was devastated to think she didn’t have anyone in her family. Looked at Skylar sleeping, so peacefully. Tears rained down her face without her permission…this was supposed to be the only reason for her to live.

Her sister left her without a word and now she was all alone… she had no one to call her own. everything was taken from her…all she wanted was to have Skylar in her life. She was her reason to live

“No one will take you away…I promise baby…you are my niece and no one else” she muttered, kissing Skylar’s face. This wasn’t done. Vivienne was not Skylar’s mom and would never be because Skylar was Alisa’s child. Monica didn’t stop weeping until her eyes gave up.
