“Leo… Umm well” it turned out, it was Leo. Standing before us with narrowed eyes. Monica was hesitant. Just like me, Leo didn’t seem so pleased.

“You mean… she and Leo… does Vic know about this?” Leo asked, glaring at Monica.

“I didn’t know… Alisa never shared her problems with me” Monica muttered, looking at her. I didn’t think she was lying. I came to know one thing about Alisa. She was a secretive person. She never shared anything with anyone, not even Victor even though they were married

“I don’t believe you… it turns out… she wasn’t a saint after all” Leo said bitterly. Monica’s head lowered. For one thing. I believed Monica

“That’s not it… Alisa wanted to be with Vic… she ended things with Mauricio,” Monica said defensively. Leo scoffed sarcastically

“Birds of the same feathers, flock together” Leo spat out and walked away. Monica didn’t say anything to defend herself or her sister. But I saw the sincerity in her eyes.
