The air in the room was heavy. Not sure what but the atmosphere was rather intoxicating that I failed to wrap my head on what was happening

The window was open and the air was blowing in, causing me to shiver as I shut my eyes tightly. Victor’s presence was well known that I failed to keep still. His warm hand was on my belly. He wasn’t moving because he had frozen in place

I wanted to open my eyes and see what he was doing but just when I did. A low gasp left my mouth when he slipped his hand in my shirt pulling it up and he was now resting his hand right on my bare skin. His hand was rather cold and smooth as the warmth from my skin extended to his hand

“Beautiful” I heard him murmur and like a fool I kept my narrowed eyes at him. His gaze was lowered to my belly and he was way too close to me that I regretted the idea of letting him touch me. But I had to keep still and ignore the burning sensation I was feeling
