“Are you sure sweetie…it’s been a while since I saw you,” Cassy said and I turned around and smiled at her. I wanted to go back to my old apartment but recalling the old lady’s bad behavior I chose to find an apartment somewhere else and I managed to get one where Cassy was renting.

“Yes, Cassy…you didn’t have to invite me here plus…I already wanted an apartment on the second floor” I said not sure while Cassy was acting so nice to me. She was right, it had been a while since I saw her. After the restaurant incident, I had so many things going on that I didn’t think about anything else other than my problems

“You don’t look fine sweetie…is everything okay?” she asked me with her eyes narrowed, as if she could read my thoughts. I smiled and nodded as I took off my coat and set it aside.
