When I woke up, I couldn’t move my body. Everywhere was hurting that it was so unbearable that I couldn’t help but let out sounds
“Careful…don’t move too much,” I heard Victor say and when I looked up, he was standing close to my bed supporting my back with his hands. I didn’t know what happened but when I looked around. I saw that we were in a hospital room
The sight of machines and the smell of medicine scared me and I became restless.
“It’s…it’s hurting…why is it hurting,” I muttered trying, by all means, to keep calm but my abdomen was hurting so much that I closed my eyes, biting my lower lip to keep the pain at bay.
“Shh…it’s going to be fine, the painkillers have worn off” Victor whispered as he moved closer to me and sat on the bed, and pulled me in his arms. Victor sat beside me and wrapped his arms around my body. I ended up resting my head on his chest and exhaled heavily. I wasn’t in control of myself
