One of those lies Mavis predicted he’d tell himself, David supposed. But it was one he could live with. It would soften the blow for whatever was going to happen. David was finally ready to begin his journey to High Tide Harbor when he got a message notification on his phone. He opened the email, and was pissed when he saw who the message came from.
