The Dean’s house was filled with many members of the pack who had traveled from faraway places, all across the country, to attend the convention that Lycanthropos called for. It had been many hundreds of years since they last gathered like this.

The last convention they had was to discuss the coming of the prey and why it was taking so long for the prophecy to be fulfilled. Some were already losing hope that Lycanthropos would ever return and that they would take over the Earth as their leader had promised them.

Despite being scattered across the country, their unity all this time had been held together by the Dean, the tie that bound all of them.
