Chloe POV

''Stop crying, Chloe…'' He drew me in closer and planted a kiss on the top of my head. ''It's not healthy for our baby...''

I buried my face in his chest and wrapped my arms around his waist. But he retreated and picked up the box that was sitting on the table.

''By the way, I brought your favorite cupcakes…'' he opened the box and took out a blueberry flavour and handed it to me. ''Here, have a taste…''

I shook my head while I continued to cry. Easton took a hanky from his pants pocket and wiped the tears on my face.

I sighed as I took the cupcake from his hand, they looked so delicious, so moist and perfect. Even the smell was so heavenly. I took a big bite, but my teeth caught a hard object, which caused me to gag and spit it out on my hand.

When I looked down, I saw a sparkling diamond ring, and my eyes widened in surprise.
